i only use lip pencils and gloss applied in a sheer fresh way, nothing too shiny. clarins, mac, nars. lipstick is so 80's if applied with a heavy hand. heavy applied red or brick colour lipsticks are very ageing. stains are much nicer and ever since i saw the fil by jean jacques annaud, the lover, i have wanted stained lips like the girl.

I only maybe buy 2 a year at the most so it's quite negligible in the big scheme of money. yes that's true. my sister in law however buys liptick all the time, albeit not chanel!! Umm, quality rather than quantity is more my ethos, after all you only have one set of lips that wear lippy, or do you?

Lipstick:I like Estee lauder, Chanel and Bobby Brown I have a lot from all the brands including Mac but the most I use are from the above 3 brands. As for the price, I always go for the color and texture of lipstick that I like, I don't really look at the price. However, I learned that getting them in Duty Free is more cheaper so now I do my makeup and perfum shopping always when I travel.
