My DS is 11 months and starting to potter around, I've been favoring bare feet but thinking I should really get him used to wearing shoes a little. Has anyone used a store that measures feet properly and stocks suitable first shoes? TIA

Pediped Robeez Fofito Gbb Really want something that supports the ankle and helps to form the foot shape, so avoiding flat foot. Petite pitons And pitter patter in Dubai mall v helpful. Clark's have a good choice for boys. Crocs aren't supportive enough when they're learning to walk, I'd only use them very infrequently .

I bought my DD some Pedipeds and they were brilliant. Very soft leather and it was almost like walking in bare feet for her.

i'm fond of pabloski and found their store assistants very helpful (we went to the one in MOE). just remember they grow super quick so go bigger rather than smaller. for around home and at indoor play you are better off with leather soft numbers - favorite things at marina mall have a great range of australian made and bumblebee at dubai mall have the european brands

Clarks, but id stick with barefoot till he's more confident. DD walked like i'd put lead boots on her when she wore her first shoes!
