Try the abc vets as they now do boarding. https://www.abvc.ae/news/pet-boarding/

My Second Home in the Green Community is huge and has a massive indoor area for dogs - they may have space as they only opened last year.

Snoopy Pets might also be an option - they are now in the old Positive Paws space in Al Quoz. They helped with our most recent import and a recent short-term boarding need. They are very professional, attentive and kind. I definitely recommend them. Good luck for anyone looking over the summer months.

Sadly I have to agree. I used to recommend them highly. But under the new management, they've really gone downhill. My dog came home sick - twice. Not happy and they didn't seem to care. And the prices are now insane.

Where do you live? I have 2 dogs who like play time with pals. What dates will you be away?

I posted my recommendation in 2014 when the original owners had opened K9. I believe they sold the business at the end of 2015 and prices sky rocketed and dogs were not given personal attention as before so unfortunately it is no longer a recommendation from me.

Hi All I have recently boarded my cats at K9 Central and both were returned to me sick with colds and sneezing non stop. In addition to this my one cat has contracted ringworm. To date I haven't received any solid feedback from them except one line answers. If you love your pets avoid K9 Central like the plague! Rather spend extra and send your pets to DKC.

Thanks for the input, Babyrat and Skyhighgirl. That's good to know. I have already visited and met the owners and got a good impression, but wanted to know what people whose dogs have stayed there already felt about it. I am an Urban Tails aficionado through and through, but we sometimes need a fallback option and I don't want to make a mistake as we have done in the past.

My 2 dogs are currently at K9 central and this is their second stay. The facility is quite small and there is no outside area but the rates are very reasonable and the dogs seem to be well looked after.

Babyrat, I was just wondering whether you have tried K9 Central yet, and if so, what your experience was? I took Lola there a few times for day care and so far so good. The couple who run it seem lovely. Will update you when back from holiday. I personally opted for somewhere which wasn't too busy. They understood Lola's medical condition. It's a family run operation with few staff.

I've just booked my dog in K9 Central Dubai. I came across this company about 2 weeks ago. They are newly opened. Ewww they sell puppies... sorry but I hate them already.

You could see if there is space at any day care centres? Most do collect and drop off then your dog can stay home with the maid but still get some playtime with other dogs?

Thanks I will try homely pets. Staying home with the maid is OK. But not ideal as our dog will not get to play with other dogs and will be understimulated for 3 weeks.

Hi there, My husband's company just decided to give him some leave for the Summer. Great ,so we can now have a family holiday . But all the kennels are full. We have a beautiful Rhodesian ridgeback who loves other dogs . At the moment it looks like she will be staying home with the maid. I have tried posh paws, positive paws, pawspet planet, dubai kennels , urban tails and Woof. Any other ideas? thanks
