Dr. Alja Vlahovic Stipac
Dr. Stipac is highly versed in the field of Cardiology
Dr. Alja Vlahovic Stipac is a specialist cardiologist at Mediclinic Dubai Mall, with admission rights to Mediclinic Welcare Hospital. She received her medical degree from University Medical School in Belgrade, Serbia and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiology at the University Clinical Hospital Zemun and Dedinje Cardiovascular Institute, also both in Belgrade.
She has spent most of her career in the echocardiography laboratory, becoming an expert in the field of echocardiography and stress echocardiography. She has also been involved in clinical research and has authored numerous publications in cardiology journals and textbooks. She received her PhD at Belgrade University Medical School, where she has been an assistant professor since 2011.
Prior to relocating to Dubai in 2013, she was head of the Heart Failure Department in University Clinical Hospital Zemun. Over the past five years she has gained significant experience in the field of Interventional Cardiology, especially in an acute setting.
