Both public and private schools will have time off for spring break in March, Ministry of Education announces

The UAE's Ministry of Education has released public and private school spring break dates!
For both students and academic staff, spring break will start on Sunday 31st March, 2019 and will end on Thursday 11th April, 2019 for students. School staff will enjoy spring break from 31st March until Thursday 4th April, 2019.
The calendar means that students will enjoy a whole two weeks of school for Spring Break this year.
Third semester for both public and private school students will begin on Sunday 14th April, 2019.

For those of you planning your summer holidays already, school will end for the academic year 2018/2019 on Thursday 4th July, 2019. Academic staff will finish on Thursday 11th July, 2019.
The calendar for this year means that students will be in school longer - as the academic year has increased from 175 to 182 days in total.
