Hi !

We have been house hunting and have come across Al Warqa'a area (opposite to the Mirdif City Centre)

It suits our requirement - independent villa within the budget we have

Can anyone share their thoughts about this area? How is the community? Is it safe? The other day we drove there and it seemed nice and quiet. But my husband has been concerned because he has been told by one of his Emarati friends that Warqa'a is not safe and after reading the recent burglaries happening in villas in Dubai he has been very concerned.

Could anyone staying there kindly share with me their views and concerns. We have been staying in our current house for a very long time so if we move it's not going to be for a short period. We want to make sure that the community is a good one!

Thanks :)

Hi Thanks a lot for your reply. Appreciate it. Gives a lot of confidence to hear that. The other area we had short listed was Muhaisnah 1 but I guess Warqa'a might be a better option Thanks :)

Area is brilliant, theres cycling track with outdoor gym, large playground, aswaq, mas supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, very close to MCC. Acces to maid roads within minutes. I loved living there, we had independent villa with large garden( i had vegatable patch in winter), neighbours polite and helphul, on my street mostly Emarati, never had any problems nor security issues. Lots families have chikens, goats, etc in the gardens so you might get a chicken running down the road ? i suppose it depends which part of al warqaa you decide to live in, the further ones are 3 and 4, and go on for miles. But as per my experience we loved living there.
