And can you offer some advice on getting a life insurance policy, trust and will? I've been meaning to get these items in order for a while and with a second one on the way, I really can't keep these on the back burner!!! Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

- Can you get life insurance coverage from MA even if you're living out here (but permanent home is there)?
- Is whole life insurance a better value than term insurance in the long run? I hate the idea of premiums just going down the drain with term insurance...
- Do you have a recommendation for an agent/broker for life insurance?
- Do you know anyone who can go through what kind of trust to set-up (we don't have much and want to avoid tax implications, but also want to make sure that the will/transfer of assets go smoothly and efficiently)?
- Is it possible for us to draft our own will, health care proxy etc and then just have two people witness and then get it notarized by the US consulate to make it legal? What are the items that I'd want to have a lawyer review? TIA!

Hi there, I am from MA but dont have much info to offer.....you are way more on the ball than we are! DH and I did discuss going to see someone here to draft our will and healthcare proxy, but havent done it yet. Expat wills, i think, was who we were in touch with. Have you done a search on EW? Good luck, and thanks for the reminder!
