Babysitting for visitors

Friends are coming to visit and are looking for a babysitter for a few days here and there and in the evenings. Our helper has pretty much all day free (and the kids already know her) can I let her visit them at their hotel and help out with the kids ?
Normally they would be staying with us, however we already have a full house this time, so our maid would have been helping out with the kids anyway if they had been staying in our home.
It might be a bit of a grey area, however if she is helping them out and not for payment by them, is that still illegal ?
