I think this may be the one http://www.casseroleonline.com/information/payment-food-delivery-dubai.aspx yep, that's the one. their delivery service is excellent...you fix the day and then they ring you and ask what time you would like delivery by the time you pay their prices per portion, you would be as well to go out to a restuarant! or, God forbid, made it yourself !!! lolol living in Dubai is all about convenience isnt it!? we get our laundry collected and brought back; have someone to do the cleaning; Choitrams boys bring the big weekly shop round. DH doesnt even need to polish his shoes anymore cos they have people at work to do that....so, why shouldnt we get our dinners brought to us? you must be so proud..... we even had Christmas dinner brought to us ready cooked last year and were thinking of doing same again this year as it's turned a little colder, if I cant find Haggis for tomorrow's tea, I might do a stew

Looked home cooked and rustic style with chunky veg. The bairns splodged it with Catsup, but me and DH sprinkled some chilli flakes and Tabasco just to make it a bit more interesting.

after going to Fish & Co this evening and having top quality cod and chips made to order and priced roughly 20% more than t'chippy round the corner, the family have decided not to venture back into that establishment again. DH did say that if they bring back Scotch pies he migth pop in there form time to time

DH had two of them, and we offererd the fourth to the man on the security desk but he declined. we went again tonight, the bairns were going crazy for chippy tea I had mince beef and onion pie with chips and gravy, so it didnt matter that the chips were soggy in the first place. It struck me that they didnt do spring rolls. Does anyone remember them spring and curry rolls from the chippy way back. Why did they go out of fashion?

According to my friend who is from Belgium, the home of the Pomme Frites you need to shake the basket of chips/frites 36 times when you take it out of the fat. No more, no less. At his favourite chippy no matter if there is 1 costumer or 100 costumers waiting the chips get shaken 36 times. Also you only put the salt on once you get home as salt draws out the moisture making the chips soggy. According to him the use of vinegar is a crime but he will happily slather them in (home made, bien sur!) Mayonaise. Mmmmm thinking of making some now! Any tips on what potatoes to use??? Potatoes with a higher sugar content as that is what make sthem go golden brown, probably Idaho russet or similar.
