Budding artist looking for recommendations on where to sell/display my art
Hello all,
I've always been into art. But recently, I've started to take it more seriously and I finally mustered the courage to part with my paintings and start selling them (also, desperate times call for desperate measures ^^;).
I've been looking around and trying to find places to sell my art but Facebook, Dubizzle, and Instagram don't seem to be the best places to do that.
I'm wondering if anyone here knows any dedicated forums or knows which galleries in Dubai accept artwork submissions.
I've also looked into certain art exhibitions that have been popping up recently but I actually have no clue who to contact to rent a booth etc.
I HAVE looked at one gallery that recently opened up in Mirdif City Center. But the art they display seems to be more Islamic/Arabic/Cultural and I don't think they would accept my work. I do more fantasy/landscape themed works.
I've also considering making a small gallery website of sorts for my work but I'm working on a tight budget. So I don't want to be putting money into anything that won't yield a significant result.
Any advice you may have will be much appreciated <3
