Now the weather is starting to turn a corner, we are making a start on the sandpit we got with our new villa. Its a smallish space, about 40sq/m. We would like to put down an interlock patio, and have some artificial grass and a flowerbed round the edge, just sand and stones. Has anyone done anything similar who can give me some rough guides to what we should be paying? I have a guy quoting me 100dhs per sq/m for interlock, including delivering and laying it, and 100 per sq/m for artificial grass, but im not sure that includes laying it. Seems like this garden lark is going to cost me more than we thought!

Anyone with any comparable quotes out there? OR any good landscaping contacts? TIA

Please post details if you find someone you are happy with as we have a gravel "blank canvas" with the villa we have purchased and will be looking for contacts soon.

Great, thanks Ashes! Feel like i need a couple of comparison quotes, just so i know what's average. I'll give them a call - it definitely wont be a complicated job. Ta.

Hi Kelly, Last year we helped our friends (who had left Dubai) to landscape their villa for rental and we ended up using Welcare who were very helpful and did a decent job for a reasonable price. Contact Sabir on 055-9133159. I probably wouldn't use them for anything complicated but for interlock, grass, irrigation etc, they are good.
