Can you recommend somewhere to get my carriage clock repaired? It's not particularly valuable but since it was a wedding present, I'd hate it to be ruined by someone who doesn't know what they're doing!

Thank you.

Personally I wouldnt. There are many places here that will say "Yes Madam, No Problem Madam" and you will end up with a ruined clock never to work again. I have looked into this expensively a year ago as my grandfather clock was damaged on the way over here but I have chosen to put up with only half the chimes working as I havent found anyone here I would truely trust to fix it. Its a special skill needed when working with clock mechanisms. However, if anyone else has better news I would love to know too.
