We plan to go to Hatta for a day trip with my ILs. They are here on British passports - will that be OK at the Oman border/s on our way there?
Also, any advice once we are there would be great... I was thinking of lunch at the Hotel and then to the Heritage Village (is that where you see the fort?) and possibly on to the pools. MIL is not the hiking type so won't be wanting to walk around much, so I'm hoping the scenery from the car will be worthwhile anyway. Lastly, any suggestions for an alternative route back to Dubai (but not too far as we have two LOs who may be getting bored in the car)?
TIA

According to one poster on trip advisor, they needed to show their passports http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g295424-d478912-Reviews-Hatta_Rock_Pools-Dubai.html
