Hi ladies,

Can anyone give me some advice...I've previously been on Roaccutane medication for acne approx. 3 years ago (in England) and over the last 4 months my acne has gradually come back and this time it feels worse than before.

Can anyone recommend a dermatologist here in Dubai? Does anyone know if they are likely to re-prescribe me this medication if i don't have my medical notes here with me? I'm not sure if i can buy this medication over the counter due to the nature of it but everything works differently here.

I've tried every single lotion and potion and all anti-biotic medication over the years and Roaccutane is the only thing that has worked for me...I'm currently drinking Aloe Vera juice as this is the only thing I haven't tried before. So far i'm not seeing any results.

Have you considered the possibility that your acne is a food allergy? If you eat a lot of grains, could be gluten sensitivity ... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/maura-henninger-nd/gluten-and-acne_b_2601648.html

My daughter was prescribed this medication by Dr Anwar Al Hammadi, Dermatologist at City Hospial. It is controlled and I think can only prescribe 1 month at a time then bloods and follow up. Seems very thorough Thanks Angela, Yes that's the same procedure in the UK...i thought as much as this medication is banned in some countries due to to the side effects. Thanks again
