4 garlic cloves 6 large onions 1 or 2 tins peeled tomatoes 1 large cabbage head 6 carrots 2 green peppers 1 bunch celery 3 litters water 3 low fat beef bouillon cubes 3 low fat chicken bouillon cubes Peel and cut the vegetable into equal sizes. Have you joined the dukan site plum? No I haven't signed up for the coaching because I will be away for 6 or 7 weeks, travelling around in NZ without easy Internet access or access to the same set of scales! I will try and keep it up over the summer and may sign up on my return to see me through consolidation. I have a bit more to lose than you so am not likely to get to my true weight until late August.

Another thing that I got from the chat sessions recently was that PV meals should be 2/3rds protein and only 1/3rd vegetables. I hadn't picked that up from the book.

Another tip! Nandos chicken! yummy Btw are we allowed to have sweet chilli sauce on attack phase? (I think I know the answer, but keep hoping its ok, lol) No! As you guessed, you can't have any of the Nando's sauce - just plain grilled chicken. Same goes for the Cruise phase sadly. This specific question was asked on the website chat session recently so I know.

Stuffed Green/yellow/or red pepper: add some spray oil (0 calories oil) cook the mince meat+onion+garlic+parsley+tomato(optional) in a pan, u can add any spices u like Once the meat is cooked, stuff ur pepper with all the above, put in oven until the pepper is cooked and tender Delicious! Thanks for the recipe. It sounds great and would be lovely with some fat free sour cream. Someone mentioned buying that at Lulu's so I shall go searching this weekend.

For those in the cruise phase I thought I'd let you know I made the vegetable soup from the diet book today. Not bad at all and it really does fill you up. Great for pv days. Last night I made the pepper steak recipe from the diet book. The only thing I did different was deglaze the pan with red wine when I flipped the steak over to cook the other side. After removing the cooked steak and deglazed again with some boiling water and added the yoghurt and salt into the pan for a lovely thick sauce. Hi gemn3210..I dont have have the recipe book.Would you please share the soup recipe, it'll be nice to make some in bulk and freeze for the Pv days. Thanks. edited by mishmash on 21/06/2011

Well after a whopping 4+kg down in the first week, the loss was a miniscule 200g this week. Maybe a blip on the scales. Maybe it's evened out, as 4 1/2 kilos over 2 weeks sounds much more believable. Maybe I need to be stricter. I have been having low-fat (not skimmed ) milk at work, maybe 4 cups a day. My 0%fat fruit yoghurt does have fruit bits in it and I haven't been exercising every day. I'll try upping the exercise and bring some skimmed milk to work. Overall I'm sleeping so much better and feel good (and thinner) so it's all positive really. Plum you've done great! 4kgs is a lot! Definitely try to get the grocery items exactly as the book says ie skim milk and yoghurt without fruit pieces. You are making all the effort to adhere to the diet you may aswell get maximum results by using the lower fat / sugar free products!

You can generally buy fresh non-fat milk anywhere that sels milk. It often has a light blue lid and is labelled 'skimmed'. Great, so will get the Lacnor skimmed milk. For some reason I was under the impression that skimmed does have some fat content.

Dint find the Oatbran there but went to Organics Cafe and found it (Brand-Bobs Red Mills) Dinner today will be the Pancakes with Oatbran with some shredded Butter ball -lean oven roasted turkey..Yum yum :)

Thanks Plum2, Yes I gained a collossal amount during pregnancy, had zero control of my cravings as I was (stupidly) under the impression that the weight would just 'fall off' straight after. I lost the first 10kgs by the end dec by just eating slightly less, and the water retention faded away, then moved to Dubai and had no friends and family distractions and knuckled down to diet and excersize but it took 5 months to lose the next 9kgs, just not quick enough - then I saw the threads on here and how well the ladies were doing and made a pact with myself that I would live and breath Dukan untill I reached my true weight 63Kg. When the end is so close I am determined not to accept a 'half victory' must get to my true weight, I am constantly dreaming about my celebration meal cant decide between a big dirty Pizza or fish and chips (once back in UK for summer). Marble slab do let you take away the frozen yoghurt, I generally get a pint size tub, chocolate & vanilla mixed. They deliver too usually (though not at the greens where I am unfortunately) I have it after my evening meal and it really off-sets the boredom. Another thing, I have ALWAYS had cellulite, even at my slimmest. I read in the book that it is the only diet that gets rid of it, to be honest I thought that was just a bit of token bullsh*t, however it has pretty much disappeared from my thighs and for the first time ever I can wear shorts!

Jenna - just re reading your post. Wow! Have you lost almost 28 kg since November? That's a supreme effort. It's great that you've done so well so quickly with Dukan when you had obviously just lost a lot of weight anyway. Stick with it 4 lbs to go is nothing. Is that to your true weight?

Hi Muurtje That's a good idea to have a goal to work towards. Hope you get to use your new handbag soon. Jenna - do you get the non-fat frozen yoghurt from the marble slab shop and do they do it in cartons to take away or can you only buy it to eat then and there?

Wow so many of you are doing great!!! Good to read this and keep myself motivated. I've been doing ok. Not as good as I wanted. Had a slip up last week and have had a couple of glasses of wine. Will be doing the cruise fase for a long time and have to keep telling myself that slipping up isn't that bad as long as I don't give up! Slowly approching -7kg. Can't wait because to keep myself motivated that's when I'm allowed to take my new handbag out.

Thanks Plum2 & Mishmash. I have been very rigid, except for 2 occasions in 6 weeks, one was my birthday when I lined my stomach with a pizza before hitting the tiles and the second was 2 G&T's at a dinner party. Neither of which did much damage to the scales but I cant help but wonder if I would have lost even more by being 100% rigid. You will find that your appetite dimishes very soon, today I have had oatbran porrige (with coco powder) Some Chicken Curry (Chicken with masala spice, red pepper and tin tomato) and for dinner I'll have Tuna and Egg salad with balsamic. Today is a PV day and I am alternating untill I shft this last 4 pounds! It really does work and buying a size 10 pair of Skinnys gives me great pleasure - BTW I had 4.5 stone baby weight to lose back in November about 28Kg, I really wish I had discovered this diet back then instead of slogging it out in the gym and eating sparrow portions! Top tips for cruise phase are; Marble Slab non-fat frozen yoghurt Sugar free Cola Cubes (circular tin in Choitrams sweetie ailse) Onken Vanilla Yoghurt Coke Zero Also when eating out go to PAUL (JBR, Mercato etc) they do salads which are great for PV days, good luck and if you need any advice/support I have read the book 10 times over! x edited by jenna7jenna on 19/06/2011

Mishmash I was 71.3kg on the 9th May and I am now 64.4kg, should be introducing bread and a few more carbs by 1st July (my target is anything below 63) you'll probably find that you get there a lot quicker than the chart on the Dukan website says, but its nice to have a guideline Jenna..congrats! You have really motivated me :) Our starting and target weight is almost the same. Today is the 2nd Attack day and so far it has been quite easy. I had boiled 6 eggs in the morning and it was a handy snack to have between meals..i just threw the yolks out. Now I need to think of some more quick meal and snack ideas.

That's great, and it's not like you had heaps to lose either. Have you stuck to the diet rigidly? Are you doing PP/PV alternating? Thanks for posting. Your success is very motivating! I was struggling yesterday although I only succumbed to a small bowl of oat bran porridge as an extra snack. Only had a half bowl this morning to compensate so hope I haven't done too much damage. I did feel very bloated this morning. I must buy some good digital scales. Anyone got any recommendations? I have to admit I am having the C4 0% fat fruit yoghurt (without added sugar) even though they have some small fruit pieces in which is not strictly allowed. They are so yummy and one a day is my real treat. They keep me going. I also froth up the skimmed milk to make a nice frothy coffee which is nice.

Hi Gemm 3210 It's going OK. No I haven't found any quark or low-fat yoghurt yet. I keep looking. Had a hard day today. Nothing I was supposed to eat was appealing. I ended up making a bowl of oat bran porridge. Just needed some comfort food I guess. How are you doing? Good days and bad days.....but Weight is still coming off slowly but surely so that keeps me on the straight and narrow! I have actually been really lazy and stuck to the foods I know are acceptable to eat so from today I'll be trying one new recipe every pp day. The non-fat yoghurt to buy is Dr Oetker, strawberry and vanilla flavours are available at Geant, Spinneys and Carrefour. I mix equal amounts of non-fat flavored yoghurt and skimmed natural yoghurt. For comfort food I make a sweet galette. How's your weight loss going?

I finally started the diet yesterday :) Could not go to the supermarket myself so sent DH with the list and needless to say big mistake! Firstly he went to Lulu instead of Carrefour so of course dint find the nonfat fromage frais and the Oat bran. He got a big container of non fat sour cream (Knudsen - brand) so I am using that as a dip for the proteins. I know I am suppose to have oat bran everyday but I really wanted to start yesterday, so did without it. Hoping to get some today. Thanks for all the replies and it is nice to post all our Dukan diet finds over here, will make the shopping so much easier.
