Etisalat has no idea about timing!!!!!!

Grrrr!

Moved house, so needed Etisalat to install everything and after 2 1/2 weeks (when they told me 7 days at the most) and yes I know that many ladies here have waited a lot longer, including a guy (customer who spoke with me) at the Etisalat office in MCC who said that he was still waiting after 8 months!!!! that I finally have internet. However, paid for internet (tick got that), 2 TV boxes (only got 1), TV recording option (nope) phone line (nope), fax line (nope). Phoned Etisalat helpline to ask kindly about it all and they automatically gave me a complaint number!!!! I told them I wasn't complaining but they informed me that I was paying for all of the above from today, so a complaint!!!!

?????? Confused or what?!!!!!

Phoned Etisalat helpline to ask kindly about it all and they automatically gave me a complaint number!!!! I told them I wasn't complaining but they informed me that I was paying for all of the above from today, so a complaint!!!! u know what they are getting better tho have been here 13 years so know what i am on about. you have to either go into the office and stamp your feet nicely, or you have to keep ringing 101 and make sure the complaint gets logged to a supervisor and then you will get a chance of things happening, its not unheard of people waiting 8 months! especially for a new service such as elife as its not in all areas just yet. keep being nice and always speak to a manager if you can. when i moved in to kca before everyone else did years ago, it was 1 year before getting quick internet, was having to go around the back and wind up the wheel every time i needed it. I agree with you busybee2. In the last 2 1/2 weeks I have phoned the 101 line every day plus turned up at the Etisalat office at MCC every alternate day (where I originally ordered my subscription) such that they now see me walking in and start to turn quake in their shoes!!!! and so much so that the poor guys at MCC have been calling me early each morning to give me an update in order to try and appease me!!!!! exactly you hassle them nicely and every other day, and then if you go into the offices as well they will recognise you and start working on the problem before you actually go up to the counter. they are so much better than before, but still a way to go yet

this is nothing new in Dubai. We had the same problem with Du. theyve not given us a landline bill for 4 months, they have no idea what they are doing. and all we did was move house. and they still didnt send us a bill. were being honest with them and saying to them that we didnt get a bill but theyve no idea what they are doing.

Oh don't let me get started!!! After waiting 6 months for our internet and landline...you can imagine the sort of conversations we've had with them! Bunch of turkeys! Sympathise Kells I count myself lucky!!!
