Hi ladies,

We are considering buying a type 2end villa in Springs. We would like to extend the lounge/ diner and the maids room. Has anyone done these extensions recently? How easy is it to get an approval from Emaar and roughly how much does it cost? I would be grateful for any feedback on this.

Hi Funnybone! I know it's been a long time, but I've just bought a 2 bed villa in the Springs and planning some renovation. I was wondering if you can give me some tips related to it - companies, emaar approval, how long it took (renovation), etc... Tks a lot!

Hi fb, We had a wall put in a 1E. You have to submit the plans. If they approve it they will take a 5k deposit. They will inspect on completion and you get your 5k back in up to 3 weeks! I don't know specifically about the changes you want to make. There are rules about distances from dividing walls. You could go in to Emaar and ask as that is where you have to submit the plans. I think they've moved to Downtown from the Greens.
