Dear All,

I am looking for a maid that is refered from someone, who has worked with you and you are moving, someone you can trust with your children. I had a bad experience with a maid who kept taking things from us and stole. So we have to send her back and i am expecting a baby in february. Sometimes i think maybe i should stick to part time help, but can i do it alone with a 2 year old and a newborn.

We are a great canadian family, who will treat the maid like our own family, the maid we had, had the best life here, and the work is only half day at the moment, we have a 3 bedroom appartment and she is very comfortable in her own room, tv, dvd, radio and her time off, its too bad she didnt appreciate us.

If you can help or recommend someone, it would be great help.

Thank you!!

Hi ladies, is it possible to get some details also? I'm looking for a maid myself. How can I get hold of you or your maid's friends?

We are in Motor city. The maid you know is a friend of your maid? Maybe you can give me your number so i can call you to understand and maybe meet her? That would be great. Thank you for your help.

Where are you staying? We have a great maid with amazing friends that are looking. Our girl doesn't have a lot of friends due to drama and only sticks with a handful of girls. They are at our home from time to time and are very very nice. If you're interested I can ask our girl. We too are Canadian and treat our maid with love and respect. She works hard and gets plenty of extras from us...that's the least we can do! We have left money/jewelery out and it has never gone missing. We offered to pay for her sons school tuition in Sri Lanka and were quoted 1500aed for the year. We gave her the money in October and she gave us change and said she told us the wrong price. She has also shown us a reciept...we didn't ask! She's great...but ours!
