How do you get them out?!! Grrrrr why would you let kids use paint or ink that stains and won't come out! I've tried normal washing 3 times, plus stainer remover and vanish, not remotely shifting!!! Please what can I use? Can't use bleach because dress is blue and white stripes.... 2 dresses stained so far and only 3 weeks in.........

I swear by NapiSan Baby (under Vanish brand), its a powder you soak in and if its a bad stain I leave for 24 hours. I have used the normal Vanish and stain removers they seem to be useless. Make sure you get the one thats made in Australia, my mum used to use it when I was a baby so its been around for a while!

That vanish thing is the worst stain remover ever. It never works for me even with the lightest of stains. It's just a waste of money, water and time.

We've got 2 shirts with stains on too. In 3 weeks. It's blue ink though, so kind of blends in. Not sure what they've been up to and why the aprons in the classrooms are not being used.

Depends what the stain is. I've started using some powder called OxiMagic, a powder made by Clorox (but contains no bleach). I water it down then add it to the wash. Then I stop the washer after it is all saturated through for a soak (maybe 20 mins, maybe longer), then finish the wash. It worked last week on oil pastels....I mean the entire uniform was covered in oil pastels. So far this year it is working for me. Good luck.
