Had dinner there last night the venue is outstanding! Food was fab! The only thing missing is the band but they said the paper work for them should be done soon.

Looks like it is - Hard Rock International has returned to Dubai with the opening of an outlet at Festival Centre in Dubai Festival City (DFC). The first Hard Rock Café in Dubai opened in 1998 on Sheikh Zayed Road, only to close down 11 years later – in March 2009 – due to deteriorating site conditions following the demolition of an adjoining hotel. The popular venue re-opened to diners at DFC on Friday (November 18) and is the largest outlet in the chain’s Middle East and Asian portfolios at 26,400ft sq with a seating capacity of 350 guests. The opening has come more than a year later than planned with the original opening date slated for October 2010. “Dubai is an important market for Hard Rock as the brand has been proud to be a part of the burgeoning Dubai landscape for nearly 15 years,” said Antonio Bautista, senior director – Europe, Middle East & Africa Franchise Operations & Development, Hard Rock International. “Hard Rock could not be more pleased to have a home in Dubai once again and we look forward to success in our new location for many years to come.” The new Hardrock Café Dubai includes a vibrant bar, convertible live music space and a 2500ft Rock Shop featuring Hard Rock’s limited-edition merchandise. Diners can take a first look at new memorabilia items from artists including Shakira, Aerosmith, Prince and The Who
