Has anyone lost a dog in Mirdif?

Mods please can you leave this on the main page tonight.
My friend found a dog in Mirdif this afternoon. He's very skinny but friendly and has been recently clipped. He is microchipped and we've so far called 4 vet practices but his chip's not registered with them. We'll call the municipality and K9 friends when they open tomorrow but if you know of anyone who's lost a dog, please get in touch. We both really got the feeling that he just wants to go home.
