Hi Ladies,

I have a problem and I don’t know what to do.

MY sun will finish school at 2:30 in sept and my daughter will be starting FS1 in the same school but will finish at 12:30. I work full time and although my work is flexible I cannot spend hours on the road doing pick-ups and drop offs (not at 2 different times!).

Does anyone have a driver that they won’t be needing around lunch time and willing to make extra money?

Anyone in a similar situation? What willy you be doing?

Thanks,
FM

Hi, Im in the same situation. I dont understand what the schools are thinking when they propose such timings. For eg the first two weeks of school I have to drop DD at 7:30, then drop DS at 10:30, pick Ds at 1:00 and DD at 3:00! It is physically exhausting in this heat and traffic is insane, in fact was wondering if its just me, but seems all schools work along the same lines. Hope the KHDA or whoever sets the rules see how terribly inconvenient this is for parents, and nearly impossible for working parents.
