Dear mums, I am home schooling my 10 year old son starting 6th September. We have another 10 year old boy studying with him and a great tutor. The plan is to have 2 more children to study with them - partly to improve their social interaction and partly so that us parents can split the tutor's fees. If you have a child you would like to home school, who you feel would benefit being away from the one-size-fits-all schooling curriculum, let me know. Ideally boys aged around 10 though it's not imperative as the children work at their own pace. The tutor will also be providing 'life skills' which is great!

Hi newarrival, to be honest girls or boys would be fine. Probably best for them to be around 10 years old (betweeen 8 and 12) so that they get along better but gender does not matter. [b'>The tutor will also take them on weekly outings - shopping, to a bank, a bakery, a printing press, etc. to show them[/b'> [color=#CC00CC'>'the real world'[/color'>. Stuff that they don't get at school. We are very excited about the year ahead. LOL Isnt that the parents job?
