Thanks so much for the words of confidence. Thats what I was hoping but you never know. This will be my first event with Expat Woman. But I did end up getting a ticket. Now we just have to put it all together and meet and get the ticket!! If if hadn't worked out I would have still gone. Sometimes it;s good for a person to do things like this and get yourself out of your comfort zone. However, we've only been in Dubai for 2 months and it will be my first time at the Burj and I really wanted it to be a fun day. Not stressful. Hopefully it will all work out!!

I felt that way when I went to the EPW Christmas party last year. I was by myself, and a bit nervous. But it was GREAT. There were many warm and friendly people there and I felt quite welcome. I do hope you get a ticket for your friend, though! (I have to work, so I never even considered buying one, or I would give it to you.)

If anyone has a spare ticket to the breakfast tomorrow please email me. I have a ticket but my friend signed up too late. So, if I don't get an extra I'll be going by myself. So nervous about going to something like this by myself. If you see someone alone will you please welcome her into your circle of friends. I am so out of my element I'm kind of getting anxiety over it. I know it sounds so silly and maybe I'll feel differently once I"m there but I'm so out of my comfort zone going to an event like this alone. Ok, enough of my ranting.
