Interesting MsGeorge, in a blonde moment I just assumed it was about part time/ weekend work, the initial info is similar to working in the UK for teenagers.
Thanks for this. DS is on the last day of two weeks work experience today. The company want him to continue to help and he wants to continue working, not full time but Thursdays and weekends. Good news.
Careful he may start demanding rights and add to the population inbalance!!

But Sultan al Suwaidi, an FNC member from Dubai, said there was no reason forteenagers to work. [b'>UAE nationals had high incomes [/b'>and the country offered free education, he said.
“What is the reason to allow my children to leave education and to go to work?” he said.
Mr al Suwaidi said allowing expatriate teenagers to work would add to the [b'>population imbalance[/b'>, since it would increase the 5.5 million-strong expatriate workforce. Government statistics put the total Emirati population at just under 900,000.
Mr al Suwaidi said allowing expatriate teenagers to work could lead them to [b'>demand more rights [/b'>if they remained in the workforce afterwards as adults.
And there it is, speechless.
