@happymommy123 Thank you for your insights. She used to go to Jebel Ali Nursery and then Safa School up to year 2. Then here in Toronto they follow Canadian Curriculum. I m interested to hear from parents with kids in Canadian schools as she needs to settle in for a bit but after I’m thinking IB or Jebel Ali if they give us admissions. Also for areas, I did research and I agree with you. I prefer Barsha Heights and that side of town. As we used to live in the Marina and Greens. Any idea how to connect to IB school Board to get info on fees and process for year 9 girl. I have no idea I can’t find the right links.

Welcome back to Dubai! The cost of living for two people in Dubai can be quite low, but schools can definitely add to the expenses. Is there a particular curriculum you're eying? There are loads of private schools in town for varying curriculums. My kids study IB and the UK curriculum/IGCSE. For renting, I'd recommend staying somewhere like Barsha Heights/Tecom as many of the apartments accept families only + the neighbourhood has a lot of shops, restaurants, sports courts, etc. and it's close to a metro station.
