Help! I have an interview coming up and I have no idea what to wear. I have been travelling in Thailand for 4 months so none of my clothes are appropriate so it means buying something new. What is acceptable interview atttire in Dubai? Its for a position in a school. Don't want to buy the wrong thing and obviously want something that I know I will wear again. It's been a few years since I last had an interview. eeeek! :\:

Debenhams have a lot of their suits on sale. No need to go for matching, I often mix and match black and greys and whites, so that I dont look as formal. Dwef cover knees and cleavage, go more conservative and sensible than fashionable. You can add some colour with a necjklace and earings, matching is good but nothing OTT! Good luck!

the only think you should ever wear for an interview is a suit (or abaya). A suit should be dark blue, black or dark grey.... that's it./ Boring but it's an interview.

Thanks everyone. I think I have a better idea of what to go for now. Just hope I can get through the interview and snap up the job!

I don't think the interview dress code here is different than anywhere else in the world - If you think it's too skimpy, then it probably is. Always err on the side of caution.

M&S has some very reasonable machine washable suits (both skirt and trouser options) in at the moment (one in grey!) which from personal experience wash, and wash, and wash...

why don't u buy urself a nice grey or black skirt (if ur slim, go for the pencil type... if ur plumper, go for the slight flare) something that falls just below ur knee... pair this with a crisp white or baby pink shirt and a nice belt... formal court shoes... you'll look simple, elegant yet professional and smart! :) all the best... hope u nail the job!

I remember somebody told me that grey is a good color to wear. It doesn't make people judge you on what you are wearing?! The way they described made sense anyway!!
