Well I finished 30 Day Shred about 2-3 months ago and am now doing some of her other DVDs - No More Trouble Zones & Burn Fat Boost Metabolism and they're 10x worse! Shred seems easy now but did BFBM this morning (which is an hour long) and almost died! Good on you all for doing the Shred - it's really worth it in the end. CB

Day 2 - OMG!!!!!!!!!!! My legs are absolutely killing me... I'm frightened to sit on the loo due the shooting pains in my thighs!!!! Please tell me it gets better! I can barely move!!! Go for a walk tonight, even up to Little Spinneys and back. Or I recall now that the Mirdif Park is open (grrr!) go do a couple of slow laps this evening, I was exactly the same, presumably because we both have the same shape. But it definitely helps to stretch the muscles out. Plus it does indeed get easier, stick with it! I read your reply before I read your username and I was like... "OH, how does she know who I am" LOL DUH!

I did day 2 this morning and am in a similar state to magicbeanza - OH was laughing his head off at me waddling like a duck on the way to work this morning! I also didnt even know I had muscles in my chest... definitely know they are there today! Feeling quite smug that I was up early and doing exercise before work though, and I have been so much more awake all day :D

I started this yesterday, thanks to Cyclone T :) I felt quite sick at times doing Day 1, Level 1 so heaven help me when I get to Level 2. I've started to seize up today as well - sore calves, sore shoulders, sore abs. Workmates, the b*ggers, having a lot of fun at my expense :( Feeling really motivated though so it's great to hear how everyone else is doing. I have a dress hanging up in my wardrobe that I desperately want to wear (bought it too small, as I always seem to do, for when I lose weight), so that's my motivation at the moment.

I understand that there are quite a few ladies who have recently received copies ;) It would be great to know what those ladies and the ladies who have posted already think of the program and any improvements noticed so far. Also what are you doing to keep your motivation up and if you have a reward planned when you have achieved all 30 days. On day 11 now (skipped yesterday due to a girls night out). Started level 2 on day 5 because level 1 was going really well. Feel the same as you, it's hard but easier than I thought. And still getting easier every day. Am able to do all exercises and complete them. Lost 1 kg in 5 days but after that, gained it again (not sure why, not eating more). This morning the kilo was gone again!?! The fact that it is 'only' 20 minutes keeps me going. I feel great afterwards and am looking forward to getting to my ideal weight. Will reward myself with some new jeans at the end!

Come on girls, we can do it. The Sydgal diaries: I find that if I am able to fit in the shred first thing then I do feel the benefit throughout the day. Once I came through the pain barrier (or shock to the system) day 3 was much easier. Still on level one, so don't know if there is a big jump to get thriugh at level two. Put on Wii Fit as well last night, and was shocked to find that I've put on 13lbs since the last time I used it (18 months ago). So my new short term target is to get rid of this excess. I am also using a Paul Mckenna cd so now seem to crave carrot stix and cucumber stix, so will have to clear room in the fridge by shifting the mars bars.a To keep me going I shall book a spa visit for day 15, and then a trip to Sharm for when the 30 days are up. My wii fit character ballooned up when I went back on and made an 'er er' noise. Sigh. I guess I am in too girls......maybe we should have an incentive. edited by Nobbles on 12/01/2011

I am on level 2 and about day 8. I have not been doing it every day. Sometimes when I feel too tired or struggle to fit it in (because I cannot get up at 5am!!), I give myself a break and try not to beat myself up about it. I try not to take more than one day's break from it and find I have renewed energy doing it. I did not weigh/measure myself beforehand but definitely my clothes are fitting better. I still do some of the adapted exercises but the key is to keep going. When I started level 2 I couldn't do more than 3 plank twists without taking my 5 sec breather....now I can keep up for the full amount! I think the quick improvements in strength and ability to push it one extra rep or more a day is great motivation. I also love that since doing the workout, my appetite has decreased - try her Banish Fat and Speet up Metabolism DVD - makes you feel ill it's so hard and water is all you will be craving!!!!!

11 down 19 to go! Level 2 is hard but not as difficult as I thought is was going to be. That said I did about 60% at the easier level. I don't mind Jillian. I needed her for the first 5 sessions to get my technique right. Then I used her narrative to judge how far there was left to go before I finished. :) Now I am on Level 2 I need her again to guide me to do the moves most effectively. Edited because it made no sense! edited by Cyclone T on 12/01/2011

i'm also struggling with moving around the office alreadyquote'> I found on days 2 through to 4 I supplemented the workout with a big long walk outside. One thing I think the workout lacks is stretching. I found a nice long walk hurt my thighs/calves at the start but was great to stretch them out. On other news, Day 9 done. Can't wait to hear something else, everything she says is grating on me now. I've turned her down to where I can barely hear it!!
