Jumeirah Maids & Maids.ae big disappointment
Having recently finished our maids contract I've been trialling some maid companies to help out with my weekly big clean and found the 2 companies I used to be appalling . 2 weeks ago I had jumeirah maids send 2 cleaners for 4 hours (had a lot of outside work to do as we'll as inside) , in their combined service of 8 hrs work I can honestly say I'd have done what they did in 2 hrs. They needed constant guidance & supervision and when I asked the girl to change our bedcovers, she started to put the clean cover over the already on dirty one!!! She said she didn't know how to take off the other bed cover!!!!!! I was very disappointed as I paid for a service and had been looking forward to getting lots done in those 8 hrs. I phoned the office and told them how disappointed I was but they couldn't care less. The following week I called Maids.ae & told them of my disappointment with the other company- she assured me that ALL their staff were highly trained & worth the extra hourly rate of 45 AED P/H. I explained to her that I would supervise the person for the first hour & if they were not doing their job properly I would call the office and send them back. She said I would be 'very happy with the service rendered !'. So within the first hour of the guy being here he had ironed 3 garments- nothing else!!!!! I did as I said and called them to send a driver to take him away.
I know many people have regular maids who they're v happy with from these companies but there are so many untrained , no common sense ones out there too and the disappointing this is, you pay the same money regardless & often have to do the clean anyway yourself.
