Maid/Nanny Leaving
We were very fortunate a few years ago when M came along it was easy she was great and everything was perfect. She is leaving and now we don't know what to do.
M has given us two of her friends who are interested back home in Ethiopia but we are not sure if we should go with friends or start fresh.
I have no clue how an 'agency' works.
Do I ask the few maids around here if they have friends, or ask the people they live with if they are good maids and do they have friends etc.
We live in an area with no bus service, no shop, and a few maids but not a lot. I know from M that close friends are important.
I hear all the horror stories and I just don't want to be one of those. Can I be lucky twice in a row?
No clue what to do or where to go or if I even want to go through the process however I know I don't want to start a new relationship with my toilet bowl either.
HELP????
