If you want only a microwave it should not cost you more than 5K if you want microwave oven convection oven you will get 18/20 lts oven for 20K. Samsung LG are good brands. Stay away from Haier. bakingreview.com

I have a Daewoo MW, was a bit against in buying the same (brand name not so popular) but after visits to different electronic shops, Daewoo was recomended as the best then (a yr before). Its with Microwave, Convention, defrost, combi & grill. Auto cook is simply the best i must say, specially for baking/roasting chicken. No worries as once the weigth is entered it automatically picks up the cooking time. half way thru it beeps to alert you for turning the chicken. and lot end of the time perfectly baked chicken is ready. Charru, I recommend you to visit different electronic shops and take their suggestions. that really helps, else i wudn`t have gone for daewoo which is quite a new brand to the market when compared to LG, Kenwood, Panasonic, etc.... BIG BIG thumbs up for Daewoo MW edited by Fatimaa on 08/03/2011

ive been using one for 8 years now, love it, very seldom use my 'big' oven, i use micro, oven on its own, and combi micro/convection for baking. brilliant. the convection oven heats up in just a few minutes, whereas my big oven takes ages to come up to temp. you can google for help/tips and recipes, theres lots of info.

OK, question for all you microwave/triple action oven users. Bought our first ever microwave in Jan last year - it's a Kenwood microwave/grill/convection oven. Have just about been able to work out how to use the microwave bit and defrost bit but the instruction booklet with the device is worse than useless apart from basic microwave procedures. And try as I might I can't find any kind of instruction booklet online or from Kenwood, try as I might. Anybody got any tips? Any help would be much appreciated because this big lump of metal in my kitchen is really starting to p!ss me off since, as far as I'm concerned, its simply a waste of space and I've got little enough work surface as it is.

We've got the Panasonic Inverter and it's great for baking. In fact I almost never use my normal oven. The microwave part of it has broken 3 times now though. I repaired it the first two times but the third time I bought a cheap microwave and kept the inverter just for the convection oven which still functions very well. Two ovens take up too much space but I like to think it makes me look like a serious chef:-)
