Hello everyone,
I would like to address everyone who lives in Al Hamra Village in Ras Al Khaimah, as I am planning to move down there in a couple of weeks. I will be moving into a small 2BR townhouse and would love to hear from everyone who already lives in one of those:
1. What is the fair rent price for the smallest 2BR townhouse? Real estate agents made it seem that most of the townhouses are taken and are hard to find, hence upping the demand and rental fees. Is that true?
2. How are the utility bills, lowest to highest?
3. Is there any clinic in the area? If not what is the closest place for medical care?
4. Is there grocery delivery to the townhouses?
5. How safe is the community? I know it's gated, but security usually let you in without asking.
6. I've got pets, is the area pet friendly? Do people mind the dogs? Of course, cleaning after the pets, goes without saying.
7. How is the public beach?
8. Would you say that overall the lifestyle is cheaper in Ras Al Khaimah?
I would be happy to hear from everyone, anything else not covered by my questions above. I would welcome any advise/warning, any useful info or contacts.
