When we arrived in Dubai we rented an apartment where we only have to pay DEWA for water, electricity and Muncipality.

Now we have to move as apartment is sold and I like to know what are the usual costs for apartments in JLT? Is it not always DEWA, Palm District is similar?

Thanks for help!

not sure, i guess that really depends on your lifestyle and the number of people in the family. but in total, about the same what you pay anywhere else.

What we have to pay if renting in JLT: How much would you pay approx. for a 2000 sft. apartment?

you pay dewa for water, electricity, housing fee, etc, as usual. however, the aircon is centrally operated, it is fed with chilled water from a central plant. you pay the palm district cooling charges which covers the chilled water production fee. consequently, your electricity bill will be much lower as you only use electricity for computer/ hair dryer/etc and not for aircon.
