Hi ladies!!

I'm currently taking 2 hour driving lessons with EDS on Fridays but I really wish I could take advantage of the whole weekend and do some lessons on Saturday. Unfortunately EDS offer only Friday or Saturday classes as a weekend option, not both. I'm more than half way through the course and I just dont feel like I'm where I should be.

Are there any quiet area's on the outskirts of Dubai where DH could take me for some extra practice on weekends?

Red_Velvet is there any way you could increase the nr of hours you are driving a week? Maybe get some extra lessons during lunch, or ask you boss if you can start late (and finish later as well). I found it really helpful that I had lots of lessons each week. I think that it made it easier for me to progress and I managed to pass the test in one go. I also did little bits of practice around quiet roads. It is illegal, but it also good to get the extra practice. I did always have someone with me who did have a licence (not making it any less illegal, but anyway) and spent most of it practising my parking in empty parking lots. Good luck!!

If you do not have a drivers license then it is illegal to drive with anyone other than a licensed instructor. It equals a week in jail. Naif Rd jail to be precise.

Hee hee,if you see a little black mini,me inside,shaun the sheep curly shoulder length hair,my bag and purse dont match!!!!(going reeeeeallly slow!) But i'll have a beautiful cavalier king charles(with her ears blowing in the wind!!!) wave !! Its me !!! :)) Funny, i also have a mini and a king charles !

Dubai City Chick,i'm going to see a little black mini for meeeeeeee on saturday so excited:)))) good luck with your new car :) enjoy - DD2 and I were drooling over them (and carrot cake) at the Mini Showroom/Lime Tree this morning! There's a fabulous white soft top in the showroom! I can just imagine driving round in it with my dog with her ears waving in the breeze!
