Hello

I find lots of things in the supermarket that I have never tried to eat or cook before, and that do not exist in most supermarkets I know from Europe. Especially veggies.

I want to learn and experiment a bit, but I cannot go completely crazy because it will be quite demanding and because one of my DDs is very picky.
Maybe 1 or 2 experiments per week is ok for me.

How / where do I find recipes? preferably child friendly...

(I mean something a bit faster than trying to Google the ingredient's name and getting a few thousand hits)

Annabelle Karmel has a good website that caters specifically for kids food amongst other things. Depends on what you term exotic. :)

so what exactly is your question? at least name a veg that you find "exotic" so we can help. or go for indian/ lebaneese / thai cooking classes? i had a few fruits at the beginning that i have not tasted before, and ordered a few fruit plates in 5 star hotels to learn how they should be opened and displayed. so maybe keep ordering "weird" veg in restaurants?
