Normally your insurance will cover the replacement of your windscreen (minus a small excess perhaps) as your car is not safe while driven with a damaged windscreen. You should not loose your NCD.Look into your insurance booklet for details on windscreen repair.
We have a major crack in the car's windscreen due some debris or a rock or something that flew up while my husband was driving on SZR. Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced replacement windscreen? (It's for a Skoda if that matters.) The repair garage our insurance recommends quoted an exorbitant price saying it had to be imported from Germany. I'm thinking there's got to be a cheaper option...
Drive round Al Quoz back of Times Square lots of garages there that will be so cheaper!
