Reputable agencies for live-out nannies/maids?
I'm a newbie to this forum and to the world of hiring a maid, so I searched this forum but still have a few questions I'm hoping somebody can answer:
We're about to embark on the search to find and sponsor a full-time live-out nanny/maid (but mainly childcare duties), and I'd like to use an agency unless I get a personal recommendation. Can anyone recommend a reputable agency for live-outs? All I can find in the forums are horror stories against particular agencies (e.g. Nannies Dubai), but I'd like to hear some positive experiences about an agency before signing up with them.
I've searched Dubizzle and EW classifieds and there are lots of nannies looking for live-out work, so if I contact them, what steps should I be taking to make sure they're here legally / are trustworthy?
Finally, we don't want a Filipina and would prefer a Sri Lankan or African (e.g. Kenya or SA) - are there any agencies who specialise in these nationalities?
