Does anyone know anything about the intricacies of visas/sponsorship. My residency visa is up for renewal. I'm sponsored by my DH at present and my residency visa reads 'not allowed to work' however i've just started a job and i'm getting my labour card processed. My DH is continuing to sponsor me, not my employer but in addition to my visa being up for renewal my husband just started work for a Co. in Abu Dhabi and as such just changed his visa. Will i be able to renew mine in Dubai or will i now need an AD residency visa, and will any of this affect my ability to work in Dubai and do so under DH's sponsorship? Any advice welcome as no one at my place of work seems to know...

hi, if your husband is sponsored by a company in Abudhabi then your visa will be issued from Abudhabi also. Even though your visa from Abudhabi, you can work here in Dubai with the labour card. HTH
