Yes, more important to do Night Zoo!
Top tip from my friend who used to work there (and it worked great for us): When it opens, everyone will rush to to do the train ride, then they will do the walking path afterwards. So the smart thing to do is to do the walk first, while everyone else is on the train, then when you finish you can do the train tour without queueing and you will feel you have "earned" the ride by having done the walk.
Don't leave out the Night Safari, it was great! Get a bite to eat beforehand then head over there. We (and all of our friends) really enjoyed it, we went in the night instead of the day. (Although we were tempted by the orangutan breakfast but didn't have time.)
http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions Check this web for Sentosa beach resorts. lots to do/see for their age. Think you've covered the interesting bits although, I would say leave out night safari and stick with Singapore Zoo day time as will take you few hours to get round unless you split it up over a few days. RSworld has a wave pool, kids will love, and you can also swim with the fish/scuba, shallow water, and there is also a small obstacle course over water, not sure if the dolphin show is open as yet at resorts world? There's also the Crane Dance at Resortsworld, something different from the norm. Kids will love the Merlion experience at Sentosa. We went back 2 years ago for a vacation and stayed for 10 days and done all of the things I've mentioned, we loved it as tourists. Ion Orchard is the big shopping mall across from Marriott on Orchard Road, you can access it via underground walkway next to Marriott if you are on that side? You should have time to check out VivoCity Shopping Mall near Sentosa You can also get the cable car from VivoCity to Sentosa Beach. Taxis are a-plenty and cheap, makes it very easy to get around. Only time you will struggle getting taxi is when its raining and Singapore can get torrential rain/thunderstorms. Also very humid so be prepared as can be uncomfortable for some. Little India and Chinatown lots of souvenir shops etc. Botanic Gardens won't take you long to explore so have something else prepared to do for the rest of time. Wisma Atria as mentioned is great for food, its on Orchard Road, across from Marriott Hotel and very cheap. Food Courts are in most malls so you can eat out very cheap if you choose. You can also do boat trip at Clarke Quay. This is great too and kids will love it https://www.ducktours.com.sg . have fund :)
Definitely try Din Tai Fung for delicious dumplings (different locations so check which is convenient for you- there is one in Orchard Road in Wisma Atria mall, one near Raffles, and I think one or two around Marina Bay). There are usually queues but don't be put off as they move quite quickly and you choose your items while you are waiting. Most popular are the "soup dumplings"-- the soup is inside so eat carefully!

You could check out Dempsey Hill for dinner after visiting the Botanical Gardens.

If you have time, you could also try Escape Hunt (locked-room mystery) in Orchard Road, a great way to spend an hour if the kids are bored of shopping or it is raining heavily! We went (twice- different rooms) with my 9-year-old and she loved it.

Thank you Amc exactly the kind of information I'm looking for.
We are staying for 2 weeks and have planned the Zoo, day and night. Universal Studios, Garden by the bay, China town, Little India, hiking in the nature reserves, Orchard road for shopping, Art and Science museum, toy museum and the Botanic Garden, does that sound like we cover the most interesting parts? The children are 10 and 11 so needs to be interesting for those ages.
What is resort worlds? I thought that was a hotel resort.
Sentosa is the resort
We got the cable cars across for the day. Universal studios is also there
I loved the zoo and the shopping was amazing but much more expensive than here :-( we stayed at Royal Plaza on Scotts
Longs Bar in Raffles was great with all the peanut shells on the floor
Thanks Sarah, everyone keeps telling me how expensive Singapore is, so branded or designer products are even more than Dubai?
We went to KL first ( shopped there cheaper than Dubai ) then on to Singapore and yes it was much more expensive than Dubai to shop
Thank you Amc exactly the kind of information I'm looking for.

lived there for many years. Marriott on Orchard Road is great for people watching. Kids allowed in bars. Very friendly country. Check out Clarke Quay for dinner/drinks, loads of pubs/restaurants. Fullerton Hotel do a lovely afternoon tea. Be sure to visit Resorts World if you have time, Singapore Zoo. View of Singapore at top of Marina Bay Sands is amazing! Not sure how long you will be there but there is loads to keep you occupied. Let me know if you need more info.
