Hello Mommies.
Please help me select a school for my little one, as I am thoroughly confused!! I personally prefer the IB board, but some UK schools have won my heart - specifically Nord Anglia. From the IB schools, ive liked Gems World Academy. Havnt seen DIA or JBS yet.

Please share all views and suggestions.

Thank you.

Yes Nord is IGCSE and then IB Diploma. The other schools she mentiones are IB all through schools I think. IB diploma (which comes after IGCSE/GCSE) is very academically rigorous. In my opinion PYP (Primary IB prog) and the MYP (secondary IB prog before IB Diploma) are not so much but other opinions my vary :)

We're very happy Nord parents too. It's quite far from IB though since, though a lovely school in feel, it's also quite academic. Totally agree with Blue though...go and see some schools and choose the one which makes you go "yes" :)

I can only give you my opinion on Nord Anglia because this where my children go...........I think it's a great school- the staff are helpful and approachable, the PA is very active, the school building is lovely and most of all the children all look happy to be there (obviously not so much at 7.30am on a Sunday though!). See as many schools as you can and hopefully one will stand out. Good luck x
