You just take the amount you want to send, and they "wire" it to whoever you want.
I haven't used travelex, but with Western Union, you don't need a bank account, just the persons name and address and then when they go to pick up the money they need their ID (and a secret answer if you've used the option of secret question).

I am probably being dumb but just never do this ! I want to send some euro's to my dad in spain and I have the notes so can i just go to Travelex and give the notes - can they just send it by courier ? Or how do they do it ?
Do I need to give his bank details and they take the notes and then pay the same amount into his bank ?
