Just tried on a pair of my shoes which are too tight, and really need to wear them tomorrow.

Am off to Dubai Mall shortly, is there anywhere I can pick up a shoe stretcher, and how long does it take to stretch them? Really don't buy to buy a new pair!

You can just fill a zipplock bag with water and put them inside the shoes...then put them inside the freezer, by the morning the water will be obviously ice ...Take them out, wait around 10 minutes till you can remove the bags from inside the shoes...Try them...they should be bigger... There is a video about that on youtube... It works for me...hope it will for you... Will try it tomorrow. Ended up running into M&S and picking up a cheap pair to make do in the end!

Will the freezing tip work on a shiny laquered leather shoes? The pair is quiet costy, so don't want it to crack after freezing. Thanks

I have a beautiful pair of very high peep toe shoes that I could never wear because they were too tight around the toes. I had them in the freezer for the last two nights and now they fit like a dream! After the first night they fit pretty well but after they second night they stretched further. Excellent result! Now I just need to practice walking in them...

Is it possible to bring them back to where you got them? They will have a shoe stretcher. I've had several pairs stretched here from regular high street shops e.g. Dune, Aldo (My feet are a little wide it seems!) so if the shop where you bought them is not an option, try any other shoe shop. Just smile and ask really nicely. Worth a shot! :) Didn't think of that!!! :-)

This happened with my wedding shoes last year and I managed to get something to stretch them (but back in the UK). It took a week for any improvement though sorry! Can you wear them around the house today/tonight? Thanks, thought as much.. I had them on last night, with my PJs , the whole family thought it was hysterical! They are a really tough leather, don't think even my flippers could stretch them, and will be standing tomorrow for 4 hours more or less, need tone comfortable!
