We're moving to Meadows shortly and are therefore moving to an area serviced by Du rather than Etisalat.

Can anyone tell me whether you get anything 'better' with Du TV than you do with Showtime - we currently have the top Showtime package.

Thanks

OSN PLatinum Extra 315 this is the one with the Arabic channels, 235 is the Premier Plus ( the one we are having) - it has all except as mentioned. Extra decoder is 79 for that but you can get different packages. Actually the Talk Surf and Watch package is 429 a month plus 235 for OSN plus 75 for my maid's package . Boxes are 150 each deposit. It does say refundable.. as opposed to OSN who are currently saying that the money you pay them for the box is not refundable and covers their installation costs etc! Interesting.... Ther is also 200 activation fee with Du ( one off) Hope this helps!

I've used both and had a much better experience with Showtime...even their customer service is decent and the time I did have connection issues, they came to service it within 24 hours. The packages and prices are quite similar with both providers.

we are in the same position - ie moving to a Du area. You can get the Showtime/OSN package with a box from Du. You pay 80 dhs for the Du Tv then an additional for the package you choose - we are taking the second top package as the only thing that the very top package has more are the Arabic channels and the pay per view ( so many free I think) We have had the top OSN package for ages and never watch these movies as some are rubbish and the ones we want to see , we already have. We don't need the Arabic so the package is about 235 dhs a month. You can get an extra box too. There is an OSN specialist at the Du outlet at Ibn Battuta.
