I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding sponsoring a child if your a single mother I am from the UK.
I have spoke to various people from immigration and the British Embassy but I am still unclear on a few things as they have told me conflicting information. I already have the below documents which I was told are required:
My visa/passport
3 months bank statement
Salary certificate
Tenancy contract
Sons birth certificate attested
Copies of my son and his fathers passport
Passport photograph of my son
I have also been informed that I need an NOC letter from his father which is no problem however I'm told this needs to be attested, is this correct? if so how and where do I do this? I was also told my salary certificate and tenancy contract need attesting in Dubai is this correct and if so where do I get this done? Lastly I was told I would need a certificate or letter from the Embassy or from births, marriages and deaths to say I'm not married and also to be attested is this right?
Lots of info here that may be of help
