Hi

We haven't been here long but picked a villa with a pool and our gardener 'looks' after it. Most of the time it looks like a pond! It certainly doesn't make me feel like swimming and the garden is 'dodgy' looking too.

Any leads would be greatfully accepted!!

We use Those Pools Guys. Brilliant! They show up, treat the poo/clean itl, leave a note on what they did and back 3 days later. they'll even come over the day of or day before a party to clean the pool at no extra charge. We are very happy with them. You can negotitate you bill as well and then it's a monthly credit card debit. Gardener is good too but I don't know the company name. They wear blue track suits and are very nice.

I think we have all had our share of gardeners and pool guys - there are too many out there that claim they know what they are doing but are in fact glorified labourers!. If you really want your pool sorted out, I would suggest contacing one of the pool companies and get them in to get it up to scratch. We look after our pool ourselves - its as simple as putting in a couple of chlorine tablets every few days and a clean as/when necessary. HTH.
