Is anyone else fed up with the obsessive contact that disrupts homework and family time? I seem to be the only parent enforcing limits - at least according to my kids!! I accept there are some real uses but it destroys real communication and concentration.

Sounds like a great plan - I have the same rules but perhaps the bowl makes it easier to enforce.

In our house we have a bowl just inside the front door. At meal times everyone adds their phone to the bowl, all on silent. Likewise during hw etc. It is a very strictly enforced rule. Ignoring said rule means no "screen" time, tv, xbox, computer etc.
