If so, does anyone know if they have a personal trainer, and if so does it cost extra? When you sign up do they create a workout plan for you?

I'm sick of being overweight; I want to get my weight down before I have kids and it's too late (genetics; all the women in my family get BIG after having babies).

Problem is I'm inherently lazy - get home from work late, up early in the mornings to head in. I think having a personal trainer might motivate me a bit more - need someone who is going to be tough on me!

Thanks in advance :)

Hi GirlAnachronism, I'm new on here and just read your original post.... Hope I'm not too late for you but if you're still looking for a PT who will be strict with you, then give me a call on: 0554512145 for more details. Weight lose, yoga, pilates and weight training are the areas I specialise in. If you've already joined FF, I hope you are using your membership and going regularly enough!!! Get some Nutritional advise too, it's hand in hand with exercise and a healthy lifestyle... Good Luck:-)

I just went to Hayya today. They said that in about 3 months they will have a combined membership, but right now you only have access to the 3 Hayya clubs right here and then something down by Burj Khalifa (I couldn't understand what he was saying).

When you sign up for Fitness First gyms thay have taken over Haya, better ask them first if you have access to all FF gyms, because anyone with a current FF can't go to Haya and the other way around. When I signed up for FF, there was a deal on and I paid only 380 or something for 3 sessions with a personal trainer. I think those 3 sessions are mandatory when you first sign up.They set out a plan for you and work with you the first 3 sessions, then you're on your own but can still book sessions. I think they are between 700-800 for 3 sessions, 1 hour each. You get a full body analysis and they can determine what the points are you need to work on. But then again, I don't know if it will be the same in the ones that they have recently bought from Haya. I really do like FF, you can always ask for advice, help, and it's clean with lots of equipment and machines. I also do some classes, try corb, it's focusses on your core and it's really good. Good Luck!

Assuming that Fitness First took over [u'>all[/u'> the Hayya clubs recently then, yes, there is a FF gym there - there's one at the Lakes Club, one at (big Spinneys) Springs Town Centre and one at (little Spinneys) Meadows. Haven't been since Fitness First bought them out, but they're bound to have personal trainers :)
