I am trying to start up a career in Dubai as a makeup artist.
I applied for assistant makeup artist jobs because I know I can't go solo yet :-)
Any advice is how and who to approach is highly appreciated... But my main question would be:
I have loads of makeup products but lack foundation shades other than mine..do I have to buy 15 or so different shades or is there another solution???

It would be a retail artist position so you need to be able to sell also but you get fantastic training and experience by working for a good brand and confidence to go out and work alone then. Go and speak to Zahra who works for Illamasqua in Bloomingdale's or Emma who is a department manager they will guide you.
