Hi Amod, I think it depends on your entry point really. Will your child be starting the Leaving Cert Programme from the beginning ie, going into Transition Year, Year 5 of the Leaving Cert year itself ? If you're going into Transition, I cant see how it will be an issue as its the beginning of the Leaving Cert Cycle. If though your child was going to go straight into the actual Leaving Cert Year I would imagine he or she would have a lot of catching up to do as a lot of the History and Geography is Irish based I understand. I'm sure you know that your child would have an exemption from Irish. :)

Does anyone know if it is hard to transition from doing GCSE History and Geography under the BritishCurriculm over here to then going home and doing History and Geography for Leaving Cert in Ireland ?
