The UK proposing to implement new rules for migrant domestic workers

similar to the sponsorship rules here in Dubai. Proposed new visa rules would mean that migrant domestic workers could not work for anyone else other than the employer who brought them into the UK, in an effort to curb immigration fraud and misuse. It is being met with lots of opposition in the UK, as they say this leaves migrant workers open to abuse and enslavement. There has got to be some kind of happy medium, the UK is definitely too lax but implementing the sponsorship rules might be taking it to the other extreme.
